IMPORTANT: By using FindAnyItem ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using FindAnyItem, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws. These Terms apply to all users, on the Free plan and with Pro alike.
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
You may not use the App if:
You are prohibited by law from using such services
Your account has been previously suspended or terminated
You are a competitor or use the App for competitive purposes
3. Account Registration
To use FindAnyItem, you must:
Create an account using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In
Provide accurate and complete information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
You are responsible for all activities under your account. We are not liable for losses due to unauthorized use of your account, unless caused by our gross negligence.
4. Services Provided
FindAnyItem provides:
Box Inventory Management: Digital tracking of physical storage boxes
QR Code System: Generate and scan QR codes for boxes
AI-Powered Item Detection: Photo recognition via AI technology
Location Management: Organize boxes by physical location
Search Functionality: Find items across all boxes
Smart Suggestions: AI-based recommendations for item pairing
Data Export: Export your inventory data (CSV on Free; full ZIP with photos with Pro)
Service availability and features may vary by plan and region. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service with 30 days notice.

“Near Unlimited” means no plan-based cap. A fixed security
cap of 1,000 locations per account applies to every plan to prevent abuse; it is not
a pricing limit.

A 30-day trial of web access at findanyitem.com/u/, which unlocks the full feature set in your browser. You start the trial yourself and it runs 30 days from that point. The trial does not change your plan — your account remains on Free. Pro (a one-time purchase) is required for web access after the trial ends.
5.2 Pro (One-Time Purchase)
Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It does not
renew, cannot lapse, and there is nothing to cancel. It is sold as a non-consumable
in-app purchase and can be restored on any device signed in to the same app store
account.
How long Pro lasts. Pro is bought once and lasts for the
operational lifetime of the FindAnyItem service — not the lifetime of the
purchaser, and not in perpetuity. If we discontinue the service we will give notice as
set out in section 4. It grants access to the FindAnyItem features listed below on the
platforms we support at the time; it is not a promise that any specific future feature
will be included.
Pro includes:
A one-time welcome bundle of 150 AI scan credits, granted on purchase, followed by 25 AI scans per month
Near Unlimited storage boxes and Near Unlimited locations
Household sharing: up to 3 households you own, with up to 6 members each
Full activity log history
Full ZIP data export including item photos
Continued web access at findanyitem.com/u/ after the trial period
The monthly AI scan allowance included with Pro will not be reduced for
anyone who has already purchased it.
5.3 Ad-Supported Scans
Every plan, Free and Pro alike, can earn extra AI scans by watching optional
rewarded advertisements: up to 5 per month,
earning 2 scans each. Watching
ads is always optional; the app shows no banner or interstitial advertising.
Plan limits and prices are subject to change. Changes do not reduce anything already
purchased: Scan Pack credits and the Pro entitlement described above are
honoured as sold.
5.4 Scan Packs
Scan Packs are optional one-time purchases of additional AI scan credits, available
on any plan:

Scan Pack credits never expire. They are consumed only after your
monthly scan allowance for that month has been used. Scan Packs grant credits and
nothing else — they do not change your plan or unlock any feature.
Prices shown in USD. You are charged in your local currency — the exact amount is shown in the App Store or Google Play before you confirm.
6. Payment and Billing
Payment Methods: All purchases are processed via the Apple App Store (iOS) or the Google Play Store (Android). We never receive or store your card details.
One-Time Purchases Only: FindAnyItem does not sell subscriptions. Pro and Scan Packs are one-time purchases. Nothing auto-renews, and there is no recurring charge to cancel.
Restoring Pro: Pro is a non-consumable purchase. Use “Restore Purchases” in the app to reinstate it on a new or reinstalled device signed in to the same app store account.
Scan Pack Credits: Credits are granted once, never expire, and are non-refundable and non-transferable once granted. They are consumed only after your monthly scan allowance is used.
Price Changes: Prices for future purchases may change. A change never affects a purchase you have already made.
Refunds: Managed by the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store under their own policies. Contact the respective store for refund requests.
Taxes: Prices may exclude applicable taxes, which will be added at checkout as required by law.
7. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
Use the App lawfully and ethically
Not upload illegal, offensive, or infringing content
Not attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the App
Not scrape data or use automated tools without permission
Not impersonate others or misrepresent affiliation
Not use the App for any unlawful purpose
Maintain accurate account information
Report security vulnerabilities responsibly
8. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, features, code, and content, is owned by FindAnyItem and protected by intellectual property laws.
Your Content: You retain ownership of content you upload (item descriptions, etc.). By uploading, you grant us a license to process and store it for service provision.
Our Content: You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our App without written permission.
9. AI Features Disclaimer
No Guarantee of Accuracy: AI recognition is provided "as-is." Results may vary based on image quality, lighting, and object type.
No Liability for Errors: We are not responsible if AI misidentifies items or provides incorrect suggestions.
Photo Processing: Photos sent to our AI API are processed in real-time and immediately discarded. We do not store any photos.
Opt-Out: If you prefer not to use AI features, manually enter item names instead of using the camera.
10. Disclaimers and Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
We do not guarantee:
Uninterrupted or error-free operation
Accuracy of AI recognition
Compatibility with all devices
Data integrity or prevention of data loss
You use the App at your own risk. We recommend regular data exports as backups.
Some jurisdictions do not allow disclaimer of implied warranties, so this may not apply to you.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
We are not liable for:
Lost data or inability to access your inventory
Errors in AI recognition or smart suggestions
Damages from hacking, downtime, or service interruptions
Third-party actions (e.g., Apple, Google, AI API providers)
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months, or $100, whichever is less.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (e.g., lost profits, lost items).
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so this may not fully apply to you.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
Your use of the App
Violation of these Terms
Infringement of third-party rights
Unlawful or harmful content you upload
This means if someone sues us because of your actions, you will cover our legal costs.
13. Termination
13.1 By You
You may delete your account anytime through the Account screen. This permanently deletes all your data. See our Account Deletion Guide for instructions.
13.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
You violate these Terms
You engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior
Required by law
The App is discontinued
13.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 90 days (backup retention period). Refunds for one-time purchases are handled by the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store under their own policies.
14. Dispute Resolution
Governing Law: These Terms are governed by applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Arbitration: Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, not court litigation, except for intellectual property claims and small claims court disputes (under $10,000).
Class Action Waiver: You agree not to participate in class actions. All disputes must be resolved individually.
15. Miscellaneous
Entire Agreement: These Terms, along with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement.
Severability: If any provision is invalid, the rest remain in effect.
No Waiver: Failure to enforce a term does not waive our right to enforce it later.
Assignment: You may not transfer these Terms. We may assign them to a successor.
Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays due to events beyond our control (natural disasters, wars, pandemics).
Language: English version controls in case of translation discrepancies.
